I had some Dole strawberries tonight.. They were probably genetically modified. They were not small, some were rather pointy as far as strawberries go and, in fact, all of them were kind of large. They were not really sweet, like some other strawberries that I remember having fresh from the field, nor were these particular strawberries totally bland in taste. I think the aimed for or desired traits for G.M.O. fruits are generally roundness and largeness. It begins with the seed. Except for using up more nutrients in the soil, how is this stuff damaging to the environment/one’s health?
